If you’re looking for a playgroup, consider an intergenerational playgroup in local aged care facilities in Toronto as they are seeking parents with kids aged 0 to 6. Sessions are $2 each with the first visit free. Parents need to join Playgroup NSW which is 39 dollars a year and this covers their attendance for any Playgroup NSW playgroup.
This is an amazing experience for both the children & the residents. The joy that the children bring to the residents is magical. The residents love participating with the children and reminiscing about their own families. The children also like playing and talking with the older residents, as well as doing arts and crafts and outdoor free play, as well as other fun activities.
