The Gardens will once again become a winter paradise kicking off on Saturday 24 June 2017 until Sunday 16 July 2017.

We visited last year and had an amazing time and this year promises to be even better. We can’t wait to visit again!

The three week event will give families the opportunity to enjoy all things winter, without having to travel to the snow, plus most activities are FREE once admission is paid!

Activities include:

This fantastic man-made snow play area gives kids the freedom to build a snowman, make a snow angel or create a ‘Frozen’ palace. With two equally large play areas, there’s more space for everyone the ‘chill out’ this year. This was really popular with kids last year. Just bring extra clothes to change into!

This challenge is set up like a game of volleyball but with icy snow. Grab your friends, grab your family, make a snow ball and take each other on in a friendly game of Snow Ball.

Kids can race each other, climb and slide in our super-fun Inflatable Zone. With 3 jumping castles for toddlers and 3 more inflatables for the older kids, jumping has never been so fun.

This year’s Ice Toboggan is an exhilarating 40 metres long. Go speeding down on your snow tube as many times as you like.

Kick off your Snow Time fun with a spin around the Ice Skating Rink. Skating sessions will run for 20 minutes and can fit up to 200 skaters at any time. With sessions starting at 10.00am every day, collect your session ticket, grab your skates, helmet and make sure you don’t miss out!

There’s additional rides and attractions this year. Additional fees apply.

Be the first to experience the beautiful traditional Carousel, a new permanent feature that was custom made in Italy especially for HVG.

See the Gardens from 25 metres high in the spectacular new Ferris Wheel. This is the perfect way to relax and take in the views.

The new flying Swing Chair adds a classic carnivàl feel to the Gardens. Feel the wind in your hair and get your adrenalin pumping as you fly 12 metres above the ground.

HVG SUPER SLIDE (Daily 10am – 9pm)

Slide down the HVG Super Slide! A thrilling ride that will light up Hunter Valley Gardens during Snow Time and throughout the year. Standing at a huge 12 metres high and 35 metres long, it’s time to grab a giant slide mat and slip, slide down the rainbow.
