Broadmeadow Fairy Garden

We visited the Fairy Garden in Australia Street in Broadmeadow last week. It’s a lovely little spot to take young kids.

It feels like an enchanted grotto with trees, winding paths, lots of plants and many figurines.

We spotted loads of fairies, frogs, gorillas and even the seven dwarves.

We sat in the sun while my little one wrote a letter to the Fairy Queen as there’s a mailbox for kids to mail their letters. The seating area is the perfect spot for a picnic or tea party.

Broadmeadow Fairy Garden

The garden was created back in the 1970s when a local resident started to transform overgrown public land into an area where his kids could play. It’s clear that magical spot is a labour of love. Thanks Jess B for letting me know about this place.
